CLASSIC YACHTING RHONA
Unter dem Namen „CLASSIC YACHTING RHONA“ besteht ein Verein im Sinne von Art. 60 ff. ZGB mit Sitz in JEGENSTORF. Er ist politisch unabhängig und konfessionell neutral.
ZIEL & ZWECK
Der Verein hat den Zweck, die Erhaltung und den Betrieb von Rhona, einer der letzten originalen William- Fife-Yachten aus dem Jahr 1927 sicherzustellen, sowie den Segel- und Bootssport mit klassischen Yachten zu fördern und zu pflegen. Dabei steht die Bewahrung des maritimen, kulturellen Erbes und Gedankengutes das mit klassischen Yachten verbunden ist im Fokus.
Dieser Vereinszweck soll durch folgende Maßnahmen erreicht werden:
• Unterstützung der Restaurierung, Erhaltung sowie den Betrieb von Rhona.
• Unterstützung und Förderung der Bewahrung anderer verbliebenen klassischen Yachten und Boote, um deren weiteren Verfall und Zerstörung entgegenzuwirken.
• Förderung der Erhaltung klassischer Yachten unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Wahrung kulturhistorischer Güter.
• Förderung der Zusammenarbeit mit Vereinigungen, die ähnliche oder verwandte Ziele auf internationaler Ebene verfolgen.
• Verbreitung und Pflege des Verständnisses für die Erhaltungswürdigkeit traditioneller Handwerkskunst im Bootsbau mit klassischen Materialien.
• Veranstaltung von Treffen für klassische Yachten, die dem Vergleich von Restaurierungsergebnissen und dem Austausch praktischer Erfahrungen dienen.
• Unterstützung von Bootsbesitzern bei der Restaurierung erhaltenswürdiger klassischer Yachten.
• Ausbildung und Schulung in der seemännischen Handhabung klassischer Yachten, der Ausführung traditioneller Handwerkskünste sowie in der Anleitung zu Verbesserungen im Sinne der Rekonstruktion bestehender Bauelemente.
• Inventarisierung noch erhaltener klassischer Yachten sowie Erstellung und Pflege eines entsprechenden Registers.
• Kontaktaufnahme und Austausch mit Schifffahrtshistorikern.
