Five years ago, I acquired Rhona as a wreck on the Costa Brava. Piece by piece, I have breathed new life into this turn-of-the-century gem with the help of friends. I followed the original plans, salvaged what could be saved, and replaced what was necessary according to traditional boatbuilding techniques. A maritime heritage lives on and is set to sail again next year, serving as a gateway to the golden age of sailing and boatbuilding craftsmanship.

Vor fünf Jahren erwarb ich Rhona als Wrack an der Costa Brava. Stück für Stück habe ich diesem Juwel aus der Jahrhundertwende mit Hilfe von Freunden neues Leben eingehaucht. Ich bin den Originalplänen gefolgt, habe gerettet, was zu retten war, und nach alter Bootsbautradition ersetzt, was notwendig war. Ein maritimes Erbe lebt weiter und soll ab dem nächsten Jahr wieder segeln und als Tor in die Blütezeit des Segelsports und der Bootsbaukunst dienen.
